Original George Kozak

1933 – 2001 | Ukraine – USA


His legacy includes portraits, still lifes, and historical compositions—most notably Prince Ihor’s Campaign—as well as stage designs for American theater. Active in the Ukrainian scouting organization Plast, he played a significant cultural role within the Ukrainian
diaspora. He served as the iconographer for St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church (Warren, Michigan) and completed major church
decorations in the Byzantine tradition enriched by a personal artistic vision.
