Our Collection
Since our inception in 1958, the UAAM has built a unique and diverse collection of thousands of rare and historical items as well as artifacts of artistic achievement. Among our collection are:

A collection of paintings and lithographs, including works from Michajlo Dmytrenko, Edward Kozak (EKO), and Rem Bahautdyn.

Sculptures (Ferenc Varga), ceramics and woodcarvings from various regions of Ukraine.

Embroidery and woven textiles from various regions of Ukraine

Pysanka (Easter Egg) collection including works of Arnie Klein, Vera Manko, Luba Petrusha and the late Roman Seniuk.

Historical postcards from Ukraine and Ukrainian diaspora.

An archive and library with over 30,000 books printed in Ukrainian, English (any other languages?) dating back to the late 1800s to the present

Historical Ukrainian currency, coins and postage stamps recently donated by Dr. Yuri Rozhin.

Primary source materials including minutes, ledgers, personal account letters etc. from Ukrainian American organizations / institutions

Handouts, photographs, programs, and other documents, which highlight Ukrainians in the metropolitan Detroit area.
