Born in Kolomiya, he studied at the Lviv National Institute of Art and after immigrating to the US (1947) at The Cooper Union Art School (NY). In 1964 he collaborated with Veselka children’s magazine. He was a prolific artist and is collected by museums and private owners throughout North America.
