Woman's Sorochka from Bukovyna
1910
When Mrs. Anastasia Demian came to the United States she brought with her this beautiful hand made "sorochka." She wove the linen herself and embroidered it and added beads to it. It was her pride and joy. She loved it and got married in it.
Before she died, Mrs. Demian donated the "sorochka" to our Ukrainian-American archives and museum. In her memory we are proud to display it.
