Nalavnyk
The nalavnyk is a small tapestry-like kilim that has been used since ancient times to cover benches or on the wall behind benches. It is made up of a flat tapestry weave interlaced with threads with the warp. It is reversible and looks the same on both sides.
This nalavnyk is from the Hutsul region made with natural dyes using geometric motifs.
