
The Commemoration will begin with a memorial service celebrated by all the clergy in the Ukrainian Community
Then experience the tragic events of April 26 th 1986 and their aftermath in the film “Chornobyl Tragedy and Hope”
Speaker, Ulana Ohar - Kushner, who was involved in the films production, will share its story and her personal experiences working and living with the victims of Chornobyl as a member of the first U.S. Department of Energy Hanford – Chornobyl Technical Exchange Program.
Members of the “Nova Khvylia (New Wave)“ will close the program with a cultural performance in remembrance of the victims of Chornobyl
